Perfect Timing

Perfect Timing

“He who observes the wind will not sow, and He who regards the clouds will not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4 NKJV

There is a quote that says “Procrastination is opportunity’s assassin.” How many opportunities have been missed due to our refusal to act? Do you carry regret from “Putting off tomorrow what you should have done today” itis? I think we all suffered from that to a certain degree in our lives. For some of us, our inability to act is as a result of the uncertainty of how things look. We are looking for things to be perfect. The problem is that rarely, if ever, will conditions be perfect. It’s never a perfect time to go back to school or go to school. It’s never a perfect time to start that business. It’s never a perfect time. Yada, yada, yada. Let me inform you of a little secret, things don’t have to be perfect for our perfect God. The Bible tells us that “All things work for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.” The only perfect timing is God’s timing. So if God instructs you to do it, that’s your confirmation that it’s going to be alright. Don’t worry about the wind, start that business. Go back to school. Buy that house. Slow feet don’t eat. If you look at your situation, your situation will always discourage you. Take your eyes off your situation and lift up your eyes unto the hills from whence cometh your help. There’s no time like the present, it’s perfect timing.

Be blessed and be encouraged.
